Why not take a trip to Zia.  Zia is a small village located on the Dikaion mountain. Here exists the oldest water mill in the Kos. The main feature that makes this village so nice is it's atmosphere. There are many small shops where you can buy typical thyme honey, olive oil with chilli peppers, olive soap etc. They offer you to taste thyme honey in some shops as well, you would be given a straw for tasting it.

Tigaki (or Tingaki) lies just away from Kos town on the North part of the island. Is is a long 10 km of white sand beach. The shallow waters make Tigaki ideal for kids and an easy place to swim and have fun with the waves.

MASTICHARI
Approximately 3 kilometres northwest of Antimachia lies the village of Mastichari, where one can find some of the most beautiful beaches on Kos. The port is always full with fishermen that provide daily the local tavernas with fresh fish. The Mastichari Wine Festival, where you should go if you love home made wine, local delicacies and Greek music. Mastichari is also your gate to the neighbouring island of Kalymnos, since daily cruises are available from the port of the village.
